My verse of the year comes to mind, yet again. Better to have one handful with quietness, than both the hands full with travail and vexation of spirit. It is found somewhere in Ecclesiastes, and I have had to apply it once again in my life in a practical sense. I realized that pushing 2 hours and 20 minutes of bookwork per day was only causing travail and vexation of spirit. I realized that the only solution is a 6 day school week, with far less required each day. Since Daddy sleeps late on the weekend, we have the time to put toward learning on Saturday morning. We gave last week a trial run, and found planning, joy, peace, and special one-on-one time with Mama that we have never before had.
