I know for me being the eldest of 3, I resented being a second mother of sorts to my siblings. I have tried not to do that to my eldest, but I think I tend to over do it. Somtimes I feel she has too much of a care free life, not many chores, no real responsibilites at 10 years of age. I just showed her how to use the washing maching today- can you believe it?...ah that balancing act... It really is a balancing act between the “work” and the “play” aspects of childhood.
